Happy 20th Anniversary to Coldplay’s second album “A Rush of Blood to the Head!”

And if you ask us, what better way to celebrate than with a new immersive augmented reality (AR) experience? For this exciting project we’ve collaborated with Warner Music’s Rhino Label and the WMX Innovation team, to create a new social AR filter for Snapchat. The filter makes it possible to place your own head on the cover of the album! Sounds next level, right? The album cover was created by Sølve Sundsbø.

Within this filter we’ve used a Facemesh, in which a 3D scan is made of the face. This makes it possible to reconstruct facial expressions. And as the cherry on top, the experience is unique for everyone, because your personal Snapchat username is processed within the filter.
